HTML, CSS & Fireworks
HTML and CSS are two languages that if used well together can create very professional looking websites. HTML is the backbone of all of webpages, it is used to create the structure of the webpage. CSS is used to style the page i.e colours, fonts, sizes etc. Fireworks is a graphics program that is very good for creating web graphics. HTML, CSS & Fireworks are included in all the sites I make.
PHP / Coldfusion
PHP and Coldfusion are used to add more functionality to the web site, from form mailers to content management systems that make it very easy to update websites and allow users to interact with the website. Coldfusion and PHP work in the same way as each other, but use completely different syntax. You would need PHP or Coldfusion if you wanted, for example, an online shop. The choice of which one to use is completely up to you, but the differences in the two are time and cost. Please contact me for more information.
Cross Browser Compatibility & Valid XHTML 1.0 and CSS
Cross-browser refers to the ability for a website, web application, HTML construct or client-side script to support multiple web browsers. All websites that I make are completely in line with the web standards. This means that the sites I create will always work with all browsers, as all browsers use this standard. If you click on the XHTML and CSS logos to the right of this page, it will take you to the verification pages. You can check any website using this tool, have a look at other websites, and most will have a LOT of errors.
Domain name/Hosting
All websites created will include a domain name and a hosting plan.depending on what is required. (This will incur a small recurring monthly charge).
